Dealing with Anger Workshop

Aim: To gain greater understanding of anger and how to deal more effectively with this emotion, both personally and when working with clients. Practical workshop examining where our own anger came from and how to identify the underlying emotional response which often manifests as anger, not only in yourself but in others. How to identify the effects of anger on ourselves (both physically and emotionally) and our relationships and how to recognise anger and take steps to understand and manage this emotion.

Objectives:

  • Understand our own anger and how anger is triggered in others
  • Develop skills to recognise these triggers and strategies to deal with them more effectively
  • Greater understanding of the physical, mental and emotional effects of anger
  • Develop an action plan for our own use and when helping others manager their anger.
